Hidden in the hills above Joshua Tree, where the desert runs uninterrupted, a single line of shadow cuts across five acres of raw land. That line is Speír.
THE PLACESpeír is a design-led desert stay, framed in glass and stillness. It exists to create space—for calm, for connection, to let time slow and light lead. Mornings stretch long here: coffee by the fire, sun rising over a spectacular view of Joshua Tree National Park. Architecture and horizon, in quiet conversation.
THE STAYDesigned for two, Speír offers floor-to-ceiling views of the high desert from every room. Cook slowly in a minimalist kitchen framed in pale birch cabinetry, sleep deeply on a hand-built Japanese hardwood bed, rinse off in a spa-like bathroom with poured concrete textures and refined metal fixtures.
Outside, soak under the stars in the private hot tub or watch the sky change through glass walls that disappear into the landscape. Materials are purposeful, appliances refined, and space left open enough for quiet to move through.
